Finally the Flower Girl Dress...

Here are the few photos of the latest flower girl dress I made. I am wishing I had a few close ups of the gorgeous belts I made. Either way how beautiful is my friend Kelly and her new husband Ryan's Arizona wedding.  It is so breathtaking!
Look at this dainty little princess tip toeing over this aisle of rose petals!
She makes this dress look so dreamy- even if it is black.
Isn't this shot of the bride and groom just breathtaking!  I loved my wedding but the idea of getting married outside with mountains like this to help bless your union is just SO romantic.
I know this is about my flower girl dress but LOOK at this cake! So Pretty!! don't think I could cut into it.
Lastly here is the one snap shot of the front...Just look at that perfect little family.  For more wedding fun check out the beautiful photography from Shelly Mossman Photography...

All AROUND

All around me there are beautiful things to look at. I am loving SO many new blogs. I have a HUGE list and I need to edit my favorites and add a few more. I saw this posted on a new favorite color collective. I wonder if I could ever be so creative in my own home?
I am also LOVEING the weather this week. Warm, sunny, blue sky, soft breeze, fresh scented lovely weather. If it never turns cold again I will be in heaven! We even won our Kickball game Tuesday night - I am owing it all to the sunshine!!! Rick and I planted some grass in the front of our town home and it has rapidly begun to grow!!! I am SO excited. I was beginning to think I didn’t have a green thumb and then little by little I see this amazing thing called grass grow before my eyes and I am getting thrilled for it to become thick and healthy like in the picture below!!
I am loving the idea of a nice week long vacation. We have yet to nail down a location and a date but I am extremely excited about all the options. We have already decide it will be a road trip camping extravaganza. So now we just need to nail down the main ingredients. Currently we are choosing between Up North in Minnesota near the gunflint trail and Superior National Fores or camping along the Brule River??? We also just booked this GEM for our anniversary I can’t believe it has been 9 months of newlywed BLISS! I am excited to take a nice getaway closer to home in Stillwater.
So much to think about! We are heading to Milwaukee this weekend to Celebrate my Good friend “K’s” baby! It will be nice to see family and friends. I haven’t been home since Easter.

Sunny Weekend

What a great weekend we had in Minneapolis! The sun was out and there was plenty of fun things to do around the twin cities.  I attended a tea party themes birthday celebration for a 6 year old little girl.  I was designated photographer which was super fun! I love taking photos but usually don't have the opportunity to take such wonderful shots.  Below are a few of my favorites.
Here is Lydia the Birthday girl!
The pink lemonade must have been delish!
Rick and I along with good friends Sigrid and Greg then spent saturday at Art-A-Whirl. I think it is one of my most favorite events in Minneapolis. Artists galore come out of the wood works to show and sell there masterpieces in their fabulous artist lofts.  I wonder if one day Rick and I will have a loft. It would be an amazing life.  We bought a print from Adam Turman. It is very fitting since we celebrated our wedding reception at the Varsity.

What A Whirl

Last week at this time I was in cloudy Los Angeles. It was a great trip with lost of shopping. The Viceroy was a spectacular hotel.  I loved the way they decorated everything with kelly green, white leather, mirrors chandeliers, and china plates.
View from the inside lounge.
Beautiful outdoor patio- If I ever go back I hope I can enjoy a cocktail outside.
Silly Dog Lamp in my room. They had quirky things like this about the whole hotel.
And of course... Blue Skies and Sunshine from my hotel window the day we had to leave. Overall it was a great time though. We had the most fantastic Sushi dinner at Katsuya in Brentwood. YUM! I will be recreating their strawberry martini all summer long.
